City of San Diego Website Wins "Sunny Award" for Transparency in Government - March 2011

The Sunshine Review has recognized the city of San Diego's new website as one of the most transparent government websites in America, presenting it with a "Sunny Award."

Of the more than 6,000 websites reviewed by the open government nonprofit, San Diego's website ranked in the Top 100, scoring an "A+" in transparency on Sunshine Review's Website Evaluation.

San Diego's municipal website has received an award for Excellence in Municipal Investor Relations—making it one of only four sites nationally to gain the distinction for providing easy access to quality investor information.
