The Street Department Urban Forestry Program has a partnership with Urban Corps to provide street trees to individuals that agree to take care of them. An application for a street tree can be found on the Urban Forestry Website.

If you see graffiti in your neighborhood on public or private property, report it immediately to the Graffiti Control Program through the online reporting form or call the Graffiti Hotline at (619) 527-7500 and leave a message with the information and location.

A noise complaint can be filed online via the Request for Investigation Form or by calling code compliance directly at (619)236-5500. In order for a noise complaint to be filed, two supporters from separate residences are required.

You can report a vehicle that has been abandoned on a public street for over 72 hours by filling out the Abandoned Vehicle Form on the police website. If the vehicle is inoperable on private property it can be reported using the Inoperable Vehicle Form

A dead animal can be reported for removal if it is in the public right of way to the Environmental Services Department at (858) 694-7000. If the location is on a County maintained road please contact D&D Inc. at (888) 299-9905.

Animal Control is the responsibility of the County of San Diego. They can be contacted for issues ranging from animal welfare to public safety. To report a concern, contact them at (619) 767-2675. If it is an emergency, call (619) 236-2341.
